Start a ProjectFour black Sunbrella retractable awnings on a corner restaurant.
Le Pistol Bar & Cafe sits on a Brooklyn corner. BMST designed, built and installed the retractable awnings that cover its sidewalk seating.
Completed May 2025. Scope: four retractable awnings.
A corner location means two street faces and a lot of glass. The awnings had to cover both and still look like part of the building.
Four retractable awnings, so the restaurant can open them for shade and rain cover and close them when it does not need them.
Black Sunbrella fabric, chosen to match the restaurant's dark storefront.
All four awnings were installed on site in May 2025 and are in use today.
